Walid Sinno

Walid has more than 25 years experience in the energy and technology sectors where he led projects covering business development, M&A, fund raising , asset development and government level negotiations. Walid started his career with Elf Aquitaine and was initially based in Azerbaijan. He graduated in 1991 from Ecole Centrale de Lyon with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He holds a master’s in economics from IFP Energies Nouvelles (IFPEN) in France.
Svetlana Shvechikhina
CFO
Svetlana has more than 20 years of industry experience in the energy sector. She started her career in audit and tax advisory and later moved into Energy as financial controller for ENI where she later headed budgeting & corporate planning with over euro 400 mln budget .Svetlana is a Certified Chartered Accountant (ACCA) and Business Economics graduate with an MBA in Finance and Accounting . She graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the Universita Cattolica Del Sacro Cuore in Italy.
Fernanda Veloso, PhD
Chief Technical Officer
Fernanda has been working in building CCUS schemes in Europe since 2012. She designed and coordinated two H2020 European projects: CCUS business schemas (STRATEGY CCUS); and unlocking CO2 geological storage (PilotSTRATEGY). She has a technical background of 20 years’ experience in mineral resources exploration, groundwater management, oil and gas industry, geological storage of CO2 and hydrogen.
Fernanda holds a PhD in geological storage of CO2 from the Universidad de Zaragoza (Spain), a master's in Geophysics in France and a Bachelor's in geology in Brazil
David Moffatt, P.Eng.
Director, CCS Project Development
Dave has over 45 years experience in project management, technical, commercial, and business development delivering on a wide range of energy projects and businesses in the upstream and midstream sectors of the natural gas industry and energy related projects including carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS) and underground natural gas storage. Dave is experienced overseeing multidisciplinary teams and balancing project technical requirements with the business, regulatory and risk management. Dave has a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Geological Engineering from the University of Toronto, Canada and is a member of APEGA (Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta).
Lorne Hammer
Senior Technical and Operations Advisor
Lorne Hammer is a senior oil and gas industry manager with diverse management experience in many facets of the upstream oil industry. He has over 50 years of drilling, completions, business and operations management experience in Canada and worldwide, both onshore and offshore. Lorne combines business development experience including strategic planning and alliance development with a technical and operational background that has included drilling and project management of large Canadian and international projects. Lorne also has a great deal of experience in underground gas storage and CCS projects.
